Total time : 3 hours
Parts of the test (in order) : Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing
Format : Computer-based
Reading : 54–72 minutes
3–4 reading passages
10 questions each
Listening : 41–57 minutes
3–4 lectures, 6 questions each
2–3 conversations, 5 questions each
Speaking : 17 minutes
4 tasks: 1 independent + 3 integrated
Writing : 50 minutes
2 tasks
Tasks are NOT optional, both have to be done
Task 1 – Read a text + Listen to a short lecture about a related topic – Then write response
20 minutes to write your response
Word count is advised to be between 150-225
Task 2 – Write an essay on a given topic
30 minutes to write your response
Word count is advised to be at least 300
